Personalized Care and Support

Physiotherapy plays an essential role in the care of cancer patients, both during and after treatment. With oncology rehabilitation at home, we offer personalized support to help each patient regain a better quality of life, reducing the side effects of treatment and optimizing functional recovery.

Why Oncology Rehabilitation?

Cancer treatments, whether surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy or immunotherapy, can have side effects that impact on mobility, breathing and general fitness. Physiotherapy can intervene effectively to limit these effects and improve the patient’s well-being.

Our in-home approach enables us to provide adapted and progressive care, according to each person’s needs and abilities, while offering optimal comfort by avoiding restrictive travel.

Side effects we can treat

1. Fatigue and Physical Deconditioning

After oncological treatment, chronic fatigue is one of the most frequent symptoms. A progressive, tailored exercise program can help improve endurance, muscular strength and respiratory capacity.

2. Joint pain and stiffness

Treatments can cause muscle pain, contractures and joint stiffness. Using gentle mobilization, stretching and massage techniques, we help to reduce these aches and pains and regain a better range of motion.

3. Lymphedema (swelling of the limbs after breast cancer or other oncological surgery)

After lymph node removal, manual lymph drainage is essential to reduce swelling and avoid complications. We provide manual lymph drainage, specific exercises and advice to encourage lymphatic return.

4. Neurological disorders and neuropathies

Some chemotherapies can cause neuropathy (tingling, loss of sensitivity, nerve pain). With proprioception and stimulation exercises, we help you regain better sensitivity and coordination.

5. Respiratory disorders

After thoracic surgery or pulmonary radiotherapy, respiratory capacity may be reduced. Respiratory rehabilitation exercises and techniques can help improve pulmonary ventilation and prevent infections.

6. Balance and spinal disorders

Some cancers affect balance and posture, particularly in cases of bone damage or after prolonged bed rest. Specific exercises to strengthen and improve posture are introduced to prevent falls and restore confidence in everyday movements.

Personalized support at home

Each session is tailored to the patient’s health, exercise tolerance and goals. Our intervention also enables us to :

  • Provide advice on home ergonomics to make getting around easier.
  • Encourage the resumption of adapted activities to maintain good physical condition.
  • Offer moral and psychological support through a personalized, caring approach.

Oncology rehabilitation is a key step towards regaining autonomy and well-being after cancer. We are committed to supporting you with professionalism and kindness, so that every day is a step towards a better quality of life.
